Creative Release 2016

With exactly 100 days until Creative Release 2016, the countdown is officially on! As we get nearer to the big weekend in Dallas, the anticipation is building for all the new looks, the Photographic Awards, a brand new TONI&GUY collection, and a wealth of new hairdressing knowledge to be learned.

This jam packed weekend is going to be bigger and better than each one that came before it, because this year for the first time ever Creative Release is open to the public! That means that not only will hairdressing students, business owners and the hairdressing elite be able to experience this unbelievable event, but those outside the industry including bloggers, influencers and beauty enthusiasts will also get to take part.

In conjunction with Creative Release is the 21st Annual Photographic Awards, which has recognized phenomenal work created by TONI&GUY students and professional hairdressers each year. These awards bring out the best of the best in the TONI&GUY family, showcasing groundbreaking cuts, colour, makeup and artistic prowess in creating overall looks.

To celebrate the approach of this year’s Creative Release, we will be taking a look back at past years’ Photographic Awards winners as well as looking forward to what’s to come for the 2017 weekend with sneak peeks and updates as the event draws nearer.

As if the thought of being 100 days out from the biggest weekend in the hairdressing industry wasn’t enough to stir up some major excitement, let’s take a look back at some of the incredible hairdressers and colourists who have received some of the most coveted awards over the past 6 years at the Photographic Awards: Hairdresser of the Year and Colourist of the Year.
